About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring for a Service Desk position in Ahmedabad. This opportunity is suited for professionals with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience who can provide first-line support and manage service requests and incidents efficiently.
Interview Details
The walk-in interview is scheduled for 20 June 2026 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Venue: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Garima Park SEZ, DA College Road, Info City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382007.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for users by handling calls, chats, and web-based tickets.
- Support incident handling and request fulfilment processes in line with service desk goals.
- Deliver technical guidance and support to clients and partners across call, chat, and web channels.
- Coordinate resolution activities so that issues are addressed accurately and within expected timelines.
- Show a solid grasp of the products and services included in the support catalogue.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a consistent focus on customer satisfaction.
- Take full ownership of incidents from the first interaction until closure, including follow-ups and client updates.
- Escalate complex issues to ESS or team leaders whenever required to speed up resolution.
- Apply client-centric practices and use knowledge of banking processes to improve user experience.
- Handle issues promptly and recognize when escalation is needed, especially during periods of heavy call traffic.
- Be prepared to work in shifts.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a service desk or similar support role.
- Ability to manage calls, chats, web tickets, incidents, and service requests.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for client support.
- Understanding of service desk procedures and support workflows.
- Capability to troubleshoot issues and know when to escalate.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Minimum of 15 years of full-time education.
- At least 50% marks in 10th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation if applicable.
