Role overview

Say HELO! is hiring a seasoned Shopify Store & Theme Builder to create complete, conversion-focused e-commerce stores for fashion and apparel brands. The work involves building polished Shopify storefronts from the ground up, with an emphasis on strong user experience, modern visual presentation, and designs that help drive sales.

This position is best suited to someone who can produce high-quality work at pace, stay highly organized, and follow established processes. Coding, programming, and design qualifications are not required; prior Shopify experience is the key requirement. The workflow is process-led, with standard operating procedures already in place.

What you'll do

• Develop full Shopify stores from end to end, typically completing 3 to 5 stores each week.
• Adapt Shopify themes so each store reflects the brand’s individual look and identity.
• Create and refine homepages, collection pages, product pages, navigation, and footer sections to improve conversions.
• Arrange products, collections, menus, pages, and the overall site structure.
• Improve visual presentation through better spacing, typography, and layout balance.
• Install and configure essential apps such as reviews, upsells, bundles, size charts, and trust-building features.
• Ensure every build works smoothly on desktop and mobile, with a fully responsive experience.
• Keep Shopify admin areas tidy and well structured while following internal checklists and SOPs.
• Balance brand individuality with the company’s systems and quality standards.
• Prepare stores for Google Merchant Center, paid media platforms, and Pinterest use.
• Share updates, progress, and any blockers clearly and in a timely manner.
• Deliver builds quickly while maintaining strong quality standards.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone who can build complete Shopify stores, not just make small section edits. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fashion e-commerce design, advanced theme customization ability, and practical knowledge of Liquid and CSS. A mobile-first approach, an understanding of UX, and conversion-oriented thinking are important for success in this role.

Experience creating fashion and apparel stores is essential, along with the ability to work efficiently without leaving behind disorganized code or back-end clutter. You should be comfortable working within repeatable systems, following SOPs closely, and maintaining a detailed, professional workflow. A portfolio showing Shopify stores you have personally built is required. The role also expects comfort handling multiple projects at once.
