Special Agent (Accounting/Finance Background)

About the Role

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking individuals with accounting and finance backgrounds to join their ranks as Special Agents. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity threats, and public safety concerns.
• Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet diverse investigative demands.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness to effectively perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Must be willing to undertake travel as necessary for investigations.
• Must satisfy all FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with analytical skills, data analysis, attention to detail, and handling complex data.
• Proficiency in tools such as R (programming language) and Tableau is beneficial.
• Experience in financial accounting, risk management, and budgeting is expected.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $103,236.00 to $133,200.00 annually. Actual pay is determined by base salary, locality pay, and availability pay.
