Role overview
This part-time Support Worker position is based in a respite service in Arklow, County Wicklow. The role involves providing person-centred support to people with complex needs and working a 39-hour week on a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and waking night duties. Essential qualifications and criteria
- A full QQI Level 5 major award in Health/Care is required.
- You should understand the Key Worker/Support Worker role and the philosophy of supporting people with complex needs.
- Experience with programme planning and person-centred planning is important.
- You must be available for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and waking night duty.
- A full, clean driving licence is desirable, as the role may involve driving service vehicles.
- Permission to work in Ireland is essential.
