Role Overview

This position focuses on AI security leadership, with responsibility for setting security expectations for AI models, strengthening their resilience against attacks, and shaping safeguards for enterprise AI adoption. The role partners with cybersecurity, IT, and vendor teams to build and oversee secure AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with GenAI ecosystems and tools such as OpenAI, Amazon Q, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable platforms.
• Embed AI features into security analytics, reporting dashboards, and workflow automation.
• Evaluate how AI models and prompts behave, including the security controls around them.
• Study AI-driven threats, adversarial machine learning techniques, and mitigation approaches.
• Design testing methods that assess how robust AI security models are under attack.
• Define protective guardrails for AI security tools when connecting to existing systems.
• Keep pace with new developments in AI threats, research, and defense methods.
• Communicate conclusions and recommendations to both technical teams and senior leaders.
• Assess and develop security requirements for enterprise AI solutions.
• Partner with internal IT groups to roll out AI-enabled security capabilities.
• Coordinate with vendors on AI security tools, evaluations, and implementation efforts.
• Support adherence to applicable regulations and internal security standards.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to extend AI security practices across the business.
• Define metrics and KPIs to track the performance of the AI security program.
• Put controls in place to protect AI systems from cyber threats.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• More than 3 years of practical AI/ML development experience using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
• Strong grounding in cybersecurity basics, including network defense, endpoint protection, and threat hunting.
• Hands-on exposure to both security platforms and AI-related tooling.
• Working knowledge of pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, and big data tools.
• Deep understanding of adversarial machine learning, model protection, and AI red teaming.
• Experience with cloud security services such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, and Google Chronicle.
• Solid grasp of AI technologies, security testing methods, threat intelligence, and relevant programming languages.
