Role overview

Veezu is seeking a Trading Manager to use performance data and market insight to shape growth plans for cities across the UK. In this position, you will help expand the business, strengthen market position, and report to the VP Marketplace. The role centres on analysing operational KPIs, assessing competition, spotting opportunities, and turning insight into practical strategies for city growth.

Key duties

• Analyse city-level performance in depth to understand local market behaviour, identify improvement areas, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Create, coordinate, and roll out trading plans based on market intelligence, working closely with Brand & Performance Marketing, Passenger & Driver Lifecycle, Driver Partner Experience, Data Science, and Legal teams.
• Track KPIs and performance metrics to measure how well trading initiatives are working, and provide regular updates on trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Share practical feedback with internal teams on ways to improve service delivery for passengers and driver partners.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed, data-led decisions.
• Own and maintain tariffs in internal systems, ensuring they remain accurate and any issues are resolved quickly.
• Keep tariff and pricing records complete, current, and properly organised.
• Serve as the main contact for technical questions relating to tariff setup and pricing configuration.
• Support the Data Science function in developing, building, and testing pricing strategies and system features.
• Help uphold ISO27001 certification by maintaining strong information security standards and compliance.

Location and working pattern

This is a hybrid role. Your primary base will be your home address, but you should be available to work from the Cardiff HQ and other locations when needed for at least 1 day per month.
