Transformation & Automation Lead

Role overview

This role is focused on redesigning core service and operational processes so they run faster, with less manual effort, and with a high degree of automation. You will work directly with the teams performing the work, understand how the process really operates in practice, and then rebuild it into a more efficient and scalable model. The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and reports to the Head of Technology Services.

What you will do

• Break down existing core services and workflows, define the target state, and rebuild them to be more efficient, cleaner, and largely self-running.
• Automate processes end to end wherever it adds value, including vendor onboarding, payment processing, license and AMC reconciliation, consumption and cost analysis, offshore center reporting, and resource and asset tracking.
• Embed AI into day-to-day operations so the team works with it as part of the normal workflow.
• Work closely with the people doing the job to uncover the actual process flow, rather than relying only on documented procedures, and redesign it collaboratively.
• Demonstrate impact using measurable outcomes such as hours saved, error reduction, and cost savings.
• Establish the automation standards and approach for the organization so solutions can scale reliably and remain stable over time.

Tools and technical scope

This is a hands-on build role. Strong practical experience is required, not just theoretical familiarity.

• Microsoft Power Automate, including both cloud and desktop flows, with a track record of delivering live automations.
• Copilot and Copilot Studio for building copilots and agents.
• Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Data structuring and data modelling, with a clear understanding of how the underlying data fits together.
• Process mapping and process re-engineering for messy real-world workflows.

Good-to-have experience

• Exposure to SharePoint and Dataverse.
• Prior experience with non-Microsoft RPA tools.

• Knowledge of finance, recruitment, asset management, and vendor management processes.
• Understanding how operational workflows in these areas typically run, even if you are not an expert in all of them.
