Warehouse Associate

Role overview

This position supports warehouse and logistics operations in Saudi Arabia for JD.com. The associate will handle incoming and outgoing goods, maintain accurate shipment records, and help keep warehouse activity running safely and efficiently.

Receiving shipments

• Accept inbound deliveries and confirm that the quantities and product categories match the paperwork.
• Inspect goods for visible damage and escalate any mismatches or concerns to the supervisor.
• Unload items safely and move them to the correct storage or staging location.

Shipment preparation and coordination

• Organize outbound shipments based on the dispatch schedule.
• Check shipment information such as destination, routing, and loading accuracy.
• Work with transport and dispatch teams to support on-time departures.

Loading and unloading

• Load and unload trucks or other vehicles using the right equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack.
• Handle products carefully to reduce the risk of damage.
• Keep accurate records of all items loaded and unloaded.

Inventory handling

• Move and arrange materials inside the warehouse to keep shipment flow moving smoothly.
• Store all items in their assigned locations so they can be found quickly.
• Help with stock counts and physical checks linked to shipping activity.

Documentation and tracking

• Enter shipment movements into the warehouse system or manual logs.
• Assist in monitoring inbound and outbound shipments to maintain accuracy.
• Keep records available for reference and audit purposes.

Safety and housekeeping

• Follow warehouse safety rules and standard operating procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work area.
• Report faulty equipment or any safety issue without delay.

Teamwork and communication

• Coordinate with logistics, transport, and warehouse control teams to keep operations aligned.
• Share updates promptly when there are delays, damages, or other shipment-related issues.
