Warehouse Supervisor

Role overview

This position is for a Warehouse Supervisor based in Singapore. The role centers on leading warehouse operations, coordinating material flow, safeguarding inventory accuracy, and supporting uninterrupted production through disciplined handling and documentation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse assistants across material-handling tasks such as receiving and checking inbound goods, labeling items, moving pallets, re-palletizing stock, collecting raw materials from cold storage, and placing materials back into their assigned pallet locations.
• Maintain inventory control processes and develop standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
• Drive day-to-day planning and coordination of inbound and outbound movements so production can run without disruption.
• Ensure materials are received and issued accurately and on time from both the internal warehouse and third-party logistics providers, including chilled or frozen items, to avoid production delays.
• Prepare and submit damage reports, disposition approvals, and related records to trace inventory movements.
• Investigate stock variances and breaches of GMP and EHS requirements, and lead corrective actions where needed.
• Organize and oversee cycle count activities, including physical counting, verification checks, reconciliation, and count data entry, to keep inventory records reliable.
• Make sure documents are properly filed and that all transactions are entered correctly in SAP.
• Manage outbound shipments by land, sea, and air, ensuring packing and stuffing are completed on schedule for delivery.
• Ensure equipment such as forklifts and VNA trucks are used according to operating and safety standards, and support training for new hires.
• Keep the warehouse safe and orderly by maintaining clean shelves, pallet zones, and work areas.
• Participate in verification and qualification activities for warehouse equipment and applicable areas.
• Follow SOPs in every task and comply with cGMP standards at all times.
• Take on other duties assigned by management or the superior.
• Support promotion of Antaes services in addition to the assistance provided to clients.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory position.
• Solid understanding of cGMP requirements.
• Flexibility to work changing schedules, extended hours, and overtime when needed.
• Strong team orientation, with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively.
• Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• A valid forklift license is preferred, and experience operating Reach Truck and VNA equipment is an added advantage.
• Previous exposure to SAP and MES systems is preferred.
