Team leadership and client impact
As a director, you will be expected to manage varied teams and adapt your leadership approach to different people, clients, and cultural contexts. You will be responsible for spotting risks early, raising issues when needed, and creating a positive environment where team members can learn and develop. You will also contribute ideas and insights that improve outcomes for clients and wider society.
Responsibilities
Drive the use of information assets to create value for clients by working with domain specialists across assurance, tax, transactions, and advisory.
Lead teams made up of people with different skill sets and experience levels across a range of data and analytics tools and technologies.
Adjust your leadership approach based on team, client, and cultural needs while anticipating risks and escalating concerns appropriately.
Build a learning-focused team culture by coaching and supporting junior colleagues.
Bring energy, initiative, and a strong commitment to developing people and growing the team.
Use your experience to generate innovative insights that benefit clients and society.
Promote efficiency improvements across projects and internal initiatives while ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard and on time.
Help strengthen the wider AI & Data practice by supporting branding efforts, participating in events, working with internal teams, and producing thought leadership content.
Maintain and grow internal and external relationships, and help identify potential business opportunities for new solutions and services.
Requirements
To be considered, you need at least 7 years of experience in AI and Data, along with a demonstrated ability to create meaningful visual narratives from complex datasets.
A completed bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree is required.
Experience in consulting or industry, including substantial management responsibility, is expected.
You should be able to supervise and develop others, communicate effectively, manage budgets, handle client expectations, and deliver quality work within deadlines.
The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues and clients is important.
You should also be analytically strong, eager to keep learning, and able to absorb and apply new methods quickly to solve problems and produce insights.
AI & Data capabilities
Relevant experience across parts of the AI and Data lifecycle is preferred, including data strategy, data manipulation and ETL, data visualization, and statistical or predictive modelling for business challenges.
