Business Analysis Lead

Role overview

Scoot is looking for a Business Analysis Lead to help power its people-focused operations and support a positive, energetic workplace culture. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to sharpen business requirements, improve workflows, and deliver practical solutions that are fit for the future. The position combines business process analysis, Agile delivery, and the use of generative AI to strengthen operational performance and support Scoot’s strategic goals. You will also help build the capability of the business analysis team by introducing useful tools, templates, and working methods.

Business need analysis and process improvement

• Partner with stakeholders to collect, review, and prioritize requirements for current and upcoming initiatives.
• Study existing workflows in detail to spot inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas where performance can be improved.
• Translate findings into practical recommendations that make processes more scalable and better aligned with business objectives.

Solution design and documentation

• Develop solutions that are efficient, secure, and scalable for Scoot’s operational needs.
• Use generative AI tools and frameworks to improve processes and support stronger data-led decisions.
• Create detailed solution documentation, including technical specifications that can be understood by both business stakeholders and development teams.

Project and delivery coordination

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and communications to help ensure smooth delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams on change management, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities while keeping security requirements in mind.

Agile teamwork and backlog management

• Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that development teams can implement effectively.
• Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs in line with business priorities.
• Look for ways to strengthen team output by improving Agile practices and team workflows.

Team enablement and mentoring

• Coach and guide business analysts to help build their skills and confidence.
• Develop standard templates, guidelines, and tools that improve consistency across BA practices.
• Run knowledge-sharing sessions to support continuous learning and keep the team aligned with current best practices.

Procurement and vendor support

• Assist with RFQ and RFP activities, including preparation of documents and evaluation of vendors.
• Review and process invoices accurately and on time to support smooth operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline, and bring 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar function. Strong knowledge of business process re-engineering and workflow optimization is important, along with solid practical exposure to Agile principles and ceremony facilitation. Experience using generative AI to improve or transform business workflows is required, and familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI, Google AI tools, or similar solutions is preferred. Prior experience supporting and mentoring business analysts is highly valued. The role also calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills. Experience in procurement and vendor management is considered an added advantage.
