Role Overview
EdSights is looking for a Business Development Representative who is driven, resourceful, and genuinely curious. The right person will enjoy sales and business development, take ownership of a territory, study prospect priorities, and help shape outreach ideas and execution. This is a high-impact role with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Partnership Directors to identify, map, and build prospecting plans that generate new business within an assigned territory.
- Carry out daily outreach through phone, email, and social channels to secure introductory conversations with potential customers.
- Refine messaging, positioning, and outreach tactics to improve prospecting results.
- Create original outreach approaches, such as email drip campaigns, to develop new relationships with prospects.
- Learn the distinct challenges, goals, and gaps faced by institutions.
- Serve as an informed voice who can explain the value EdSights brings to the market.

Preferred Background
- Familiarity with the higher education space is a plus.
- 0 to 2 years of B2B sales experience is preferred, though not required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay of $70,000.
- Year 1 on-target earnings of $85,000.
- Uncapped commission-based variable compensation.
