Role Overview
Smartech is hiring a creative content professional for its London HQ in Marylebone. This position is focused on fast, high-quality production of campaign and brand content across social, email, web, and in-store channels. The role is set in a retail and brand-experience environment where content needs to feel polished, on-brand, and ready for multiple formats at speed.
Smartech positions itself as an innovation-led destination where consumers can explore products from technology, health, gaming, and lifestyle brands. Its store concepts in London and New York act as platforms for partner brands to connect with curious audiences, and this role helps shape how those brands are presented visually and verbally.
What You Will Do
- Develop and produce content for social platforms, email campaigns, websites, and in-store displays.
- Draft and refine short-form copy for captions, campaign posts, and promotional assets.
- Rework content for different formats and channels such as Instagram, TikTok, email, retail screens, and partner-led channels.
- Keep the content calendar up to date and maintain a structured, easy-to-use asset library.
- Create visual assets, templates, and campaign graphics for brand launches and partner activations.
- Make sure all creative work aligns with Smartech’s identity and the relevant partner brand guidelines.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and event materials for the retail space when needed.
- Edit photo and video material so it is ready for publication.
- Use AI-assisted tools for ideation, drafting, image generation, video editing, and copy support to accelerate production.
- Refine AI-generated outputs so they match the expected tone, look, and brand standards.
- Stay aware of useful new AI tools and ways of working, and help introduce practical improvements to the team’s process.
- Know when to work with AI and when a fully manual approach will deliver a better result.
- Partner closely with the Marketing Manager and Social Media lead to transform briefs into finished creative.
- Coordinate with external creators, agencies, and brand partners on shared content when required.
- Capture live content during launches, activations, and events across retail locations.
- Share feedback on which content formats and ideas are performing best with audiences.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate could come from retail, media, agency, social-first brands, or a creative studio, provided they have proven experience making content and visuals efficiently.
- Previous experience in content creation, graphic design, or social media production.
- A portfolio that demonstrates range across design, photography/video, and copywriting.
- Regular, practical experience using AI tools in creative workflows, such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, ChatGPT, Claude, or AI video/editing tools.
- Confidence with core design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
- A strong sense of layout, typography, composition, and brand consistency.
- Excellent time management and the ability to juggle several content tasks at once.
- Interest in innovation, consumer technology, lifestyle, or culture.
