About the Role
This position sits with a fast-growing cannabis business that is focused on delivering standout products and memorable customer experiences. The team is looking for someone imaginative, well-organized, and self-driven to help support design and marketing work, build brand visibility, and improve engagement across digital channels.
The role blends graphic design, social media management, content creation, and day-to-day marketing execution. You will partner closely with the Director of Marketing and the creative team to turn campaign ideas into finished work while keeping the brand polished, consistent, and engaging.
Role Summary
The Creative Marketing Coordinator will develop visual assets, manage social channels, assist with email marketing, and support broader campaign activity. Success in this role depends on creativity, strong organization, and the ability to handle several priorities in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design branded marketing materials and creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist with both digital and print collateral development.
- Maintain visual consistency across all brand and campaign materials.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute campaign concepts.
- Create engaging content for Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Oversee the social media content calendar and keep it updated.
- Prepare, schedule, and publish content across multiple channels.
- Track engagement, respond professionally to comments and direct messages, and handle inquiries promptly.
- Watch for content trends and growth opportunities that can improve reach and brand awareness.
- Write and edit copy for email campaigns and other marketing content.
- Help develop website copy, blog content, and promotional messaging.
- Keep messaging aligned with the brand voice and campaign goals.
- Support email campaign setup, scheduling, and deployment.
- Assist with template preparation, audience segmentation, and list management.
- Create, edit, and optimize short-form videos and reels for social platforms.
- Capture photo and video content at retail locations, production sites, and company events when needed.
- Stay current on content trends and effective social media practices.
- Track campaign performance and important marketing metrics.
- Prepare reports for email, social, and digital campaign activity.
- Share observations and suggestions to improve results over time.
- Support the Director of Marketing with company-wide initiatives and campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect content and move projects forward.
- Assist with other marketing tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, social media, graphic design, or a similar field.
- Hands-on ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Premiere Pro is preferred.
- Prior experience managing business or brand social media accounts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience producing digital marketing content and visual materials.
- Good organizational ability and strong attention to detail.
- Comfort handling several projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Preferred background in cannabis, consumer packaged goods, retail, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience using email marketing tools.
- Basic photography and videography skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance reporting.
- Exposure to SEO and website content management systems is a plus.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
