Data Entry Specialist

About the Role

Income Insurance Limited is seeking a meticulous Data Entry Specialist to join their team in Singapore. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of customer information across various systems. You will be responsible for large-scale data cleansing, updating records, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. The position requires a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive data cleansing to pinpoint and rectify erroneous, incomplete, duplicated, or outdated customer records.
• Update and amend customer details within multiple platforms, adhering strictly to established data standards.
• Communicate with customers via SMS, email, or phone to request information updates as part of the data cleansing initiative, if necessary.
• Meet defined turnaround times and productivity targets when managing substantial data volumes.
• Verify customer data by comparing system entries against supporting documentation, such as application forms and identification.
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies by examining source documents and collaborating with relevant departments for clarification.
• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal data governance requirements for all data handled.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail to minimize errors in data entry and corrections.
• Manage sensitive customer data in strict accordance with data privacy, security, and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

• Possession of a Polytechnic Diploma or a Degree.
• A preference for candidates with at least 1-2 years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in IT and computer applications, particularly MS Office, and the ability to navigate multiple systems and digital tools with confidence.
