What you will do

  • Review existing data quality controls and help improve the process so risks are well understood and reduced before information is used for lawful purposes by the Disclosure Team.
  • Assess data quality issues and risks for new data sources coming from both inside and outside BT.
  • Work with the wider Obligations Technical teams to support the development and review of data sources, ensuring the Disclosure Team receives the right information for legal and operational needs.

  • Build and maintain strong data quality reporting that supports operational needs and aligns with team goals.

The role calls for hands-on experience with data quality practices, analysis, collaboration across teams, requirements assessment, and dashboard/reporting work. Candidates should be comfortable improving processes, spotting risk, and supporting technical delivery in a regulated environment.

Desirable background

  • Awareness of UK regulation, especially the Investigatory Powers Act, and how it relates to the disclosure of communications data or content.
