Floater

Role Overview

This position is a variable-hours floater role that supports site operations whenever coverage is needed. The job is focused on maintaining clean, orderly, and safe environments across assigned locations, including handling short-notice absences, emergency client requests, and open shifts.

Compensation

Pay is $22.00 per hour.

What the Job Involves

The floater will complete a range of janitorial and sanitation tasks for indoor spaces, and outdoor areas when requested. Core duties include floor maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, along with following proper safety practices when using equipment and cleaning products. The role helps maintain a clean, functional, and welcoming workplace environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is needed.
• You must have dependable personal transportation and be able to drive your own vehicle to each assigned location.

Preferred Background

• Prior work in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, exam rooms, restrooms, and shared areas on a daily basis.
• Handle dusting tasks.
• Clean glass surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash.
• Refill paper goods and related supplies.
• Carry out floor care work such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to support cleanliness and safety.

Physical Demands

• Ability to regularly lift more than 10 pounds.
• Comfort with bending, stretching, twisting, reaching overhead, squatting, walking, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to climb stairs.
