Foreman - Quality Control - Site

Role Overview

The Foreman for Quality Control at site level supports civil works by keeping a close watch on quality activities and helping the QA/QC engineer put the project’s quality plan into action. This position focuses on daily site checks, basic material verification, workmanship control, and adherence to both quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Control Engineer in carrying out the quality assurance plan on site through daily checks of civil work stages such as excavation, shuttering, reinforcement placement, concreting, and curing.
• Inspect site progress every day to confirm that workmanship matches the specified tolerances, levels, and dimensions shown in approved drawings and method statements.
• Verify that materials delivered to site have been approved and meet required quality standards; isolate any defective or non-compliant items and inform the responsible engineer.
• Oversee and confirm proper surface preparation, compaction, leveling, and alignment during earthwork and subgrade activities so that technical specifications are followed correctly.
• Monitor rebar installation, formwork setup, and concrete placement closely, ensuring bar bending schedules, cover blocks, and vibration practices are followed to reduce the risk of honeycombing, voids, and similar defects.

Additional Information

This is a civil site-based role with responsibility for maintaining quality procedures while work is in progress. The position also requires attention to safety standards during field execution.
