Junior Site Supervisor

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site opening in Coimbatore for a Junior Site Supervisor. The position focuses on keeping daily site operations running smoothly, checking work progress, and helping ensure that project schedules and quality expectations are met.

What you will do

You will work closely with site personnel, contractors, and vendors to help tasks get completed safely, accurately, and on time. The role includes supporting day-to-day planning, monitoring materials and resources, maintaining basic records, and escalating concerns or delays to senior supervisors or managers.

You will also help uphold safety practices, support compliance with company rules and applicable regulations, and contribute to an orderly and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and the ability to coordinate several site activities at once.
• Clear communication and strong people skills for interacting with site teams, contractors, and management.
• Basic knowledge of site operations, safety practices, and quality expectations, along with a willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail so issues can be identified early and resolved quickly.
• Basic computer skills, including email, reports, and spreadsheets, for record keeping and status updates.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, facilities management, or a similar field is preferred.
• Some exposure through an internship or an entry-level role in site supervision, facilities, or operations is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Coimbatore, including extended hours when project needs demand it, and follow all safety and company requirements.
