Role Overview

This position is for a site-based MEP Manager focused on electrical and ELV works. The job is centered on planning, supervising, and driving installation activities at the project location so that the work aligns with approved designs, required quality levels, safety rules, and project schedules. The role also requires regular coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to keep electrical and ELV packages moving efficiently within the wider MEP scope.

Core Accountabilities

• Oversee and track electrical and ELV installation activities such as HT/LT systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and BMS in line with approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Work closely with civil and other MEP teams to ensure electrical and ELV tasks are integrated smoothly into day-to-day site operations.
• Maintain adherence to electrical codes, safety requirements, and quality benchmarks during installation, inspection, and testing.
• Review site work, identify defects or pending items, prepare snagging lists, and coordinate timely closure with vendors and subcontractors.
• Contribute to material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements related to electrical and ELV scope.
• Assist with testing and commissioning activities and verify that systems meet the required functional performance.

Stakeholder Coordination

The role involves working with internal project and execution teams for scheduling and coordination, QA/QC and safety teams for inspections and compliance updates, and stores/procurement teams for material and inventory tracking. Externally, the position interfaces with subcontractors and vendors for execution support and deliveries, and with clients, consultants, PMCs, and statutory authorities for approvals, inspections, and electrical compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold ITI, Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Strong English communication is needed, and familiarity with the local language is an advantage for site-level interaction. The role calls for 10 to 20 years of relevant experience in electrical and ELV installation, supervision, and testing on construction sites, along with exposure to multidisciplinary coordination and compliance-focused work.

Technical and Behavioral Requirements

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical system installation, ELV packages such as CCTV, access control, BMS, and PA systems, cable laying and termination, switchgear and panel installation, drawing reading, AutoCAD, MS Office, load calculation, voltage drop analysis, testing and commissioning, quality inspection, DDC control systems, low-voltage and extra-low-voltage installations, reconciliation, and resource planning. Strong teamwork, time management, attention to detail, communication, adaptability, accountability, safety awareness, problem solving, collaboration, and result orientation are also essential.
