Role overview

ACRA is seeking a proactive and collaborative professional to support the advancement of Singapore’s accountancy sector. This one-year contract role focuses on helping drive productivity, transformation, and capability-building initiatives, including the administration of grants and the coordination of outreach efforts that strengthen the talent pipeline for the profession.

Key work areas

• Handle applications and claims for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) within the accountancy sector.
• Keep grant tracking records and electronic filing systems accurate and up to date.
• Assist in planning and executing outreach initiatives and campaigns that improve awareness and attractiveness of accountancy as a career option.
• Provide administrative and secretariat support to committees working on accountancy workforce development recommendations.
• Support desktop research efforts and help coordinate ACRA’s annual Accounting Entities (AE) Survey.

What the role calls for

• A professional qualification in any field, with accountancy or business being the preferred background.
• Prior exposure to grant administration would be an advantage.
• Strong self-drive, good interpersonal abilities, and clear communication skills.
• Experience in sector-based campaign development is helpful.
• Ability to juggle several projects and deadlines at once while working with minimal supervision.

This position is offered as a one-year contract and is based onsite in Singapore.
