Role overview
This position is a cross-functional marketing coordination role based in Dallas and performed in office. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and act as a bridge between internal groups such as creative, digital, product, and sales, as well as outside agency partners. The role provides broad exposure to brand marketing, influencer work, affiliate operations, social support, and creative workflow management, making it a solid entry into a well-rounded marketing career. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable building trackers and briefs, and dependable when it comes to timelines and follow-through.
Key responsibilities
You will help keep campaigns moving, support influencer and affiliate operations, assist with social and content coordination, and ensure marketing materials and meetings stay organized. The work spans launch coordination, asset routing, reporting, partner communication, and administrative support across the marketing function.
- Assist with execution of 360 campaigns across A-, B-, and C-tier launches by monitoring schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Keep the marketing activation calendar current and highlight any timing issues or conflicts early.
- Manage the creative intake process in Asana and make sure briefs are submitted, assigned, and tracked through completion.
- Coordinate asset handoffs among internal stakeholders and agency partners, including paid media, PR, and influencer operations.
- Prepare and circulate creative briefs, and support the review and revision process.
- Arrange influencer product shipments, including gifted, paid, and agency-based sends, while tracking fulfillment and logistics.
- Support influencer campaign briefings and monitor deliverables against launch dates.
- Maintain partner records in CreatorIQ and keep campaign tags and performance tracking up to date.
- Gather and organize affiliate data from ShopMy, LTK, and TikTok affiliate tools when needed.
- Help review and onboard new affiliate partners, while checking link functionality and commission accuracy.
- Support the Social Media Manager with scheduling, organizing assets, and reviewing captions.
- Identify relevant user-generated content for reposting and maintain the UGC tracking log.
- Coordinate TYB platform updates and content drops with the Community Manager.
- Assist with PR sample distribution, press mailers, and event logistics.
- Act as a communication point between Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product Development, and Sales.
- Keep shared folders, asset libraries, and campaign files organized and easy to access.
- Help prepare presentations, stakeholder materials, and background research for the Senior Director.
- Track action items and follow-ups from internal and agency meetings.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, brand support, or agency coordination; experience in beauty, consumer packaged goods, or retail is preferred.
- Strong organizational ability and comfort managing several active workstreams at once.
- Clear, concise, and polished written communication for briefs, recaps, and updates.
- Comfort working with data, including pulling reports, building trackers, and identifying the most relevant metrics for different audiences.
- Hands-on experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday, or similar tools.
- Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams and manage upward without needing constant direction.
- Preferred exposure to influencer or affiliate platforms such as ShopMy, LTK, TikTok affiliate, CreatorIQ, or comparable tools.
- Helpful background in paid media workflows or agency coordination.
- Experience supporting a marketing leader in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment is an advantage.
- Interest in beauty, wellness, or personal care, with familiarity in the category seen as a plus.
- Exposure to retail or mass/masstige environments such as Ulta, Target, Walmart, or salon professional channels is beneficial.

This is an in-office position in Dallas, TX. Hempz describes the business as being in a period of significant transformation, with a large-scale rebrand underway, rapidly expanding influencer and affiliate programs, and a stronger focus on process and accountability.
