Role Summary

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and transport activity, keeping operations efficient and aligned with company standards. The position involves coordinating shipment timelines, working with vendors and partners, guiding team members, ensuring regulatory compliance, and making the best use of available resources. The role also calls for clear communication and practical problem-solving to manage operational issues and maintain customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai.

Key Duties

• Manage routine logistics and transportation workflows to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling and monitor movement across the network.
• Liaise with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders to keep operations on track.
• Supervise operational teams and support effective day-to-day execution.
• Maintain adherence to applicable rules, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Allocate staff, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
• Address operational challenges quickly and help preserve a high level of client service.

Candidate Profile

• Hands-on background in logistics, freight forwarding, project logistics, or transportation operations.
• Ability to organize shipment schedules, manage resources, and handle vendor relationships.
• Strong capability in decision-making, troubleshooting, and process coordination.
• Working knowledge of industry regulations and compliance practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with logistics or transport management software systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Exposure to global shipping markets, including the Middle East, CIS, and African regions, would be an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, multicultural work environment.

Additional Information

This role is based in Dubai and follows a full-time, on-site working model.
