Role Overview
This position leads account management for Direct-to-Consumer brands through a team of Strategic Account Managers. The goal is to accelerate brand growth across the platform by strengthening selection, activation, and monetization for managed brands. The leader will oversee a large team and help scale long-tail brands as well as broader portfolio growth.
Team Leadership
- Lead and coach a team of 20 Strategic Account Managers.
- Supervise third-party consultant hires and make sure onboarding and performance processes run smoothly.
- Expand the SAM team to support more than 500 managed brands while maintaining retention, engagement, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the 2026 growth strategy with a target of more than 60% year-on-year growth by expanding trend-led selection and supporting emerging scale-up brands.
- Spot article-type gaps across under-penetrated business units such as Women’s Western Wear, Kids, and Home Furnishing.
- Reduce concentration risk by shifting growth beyond the top 50 brands to a wider base of 250+ challenger brands.
- Improve selection parity by reaching 80% versus competitors and brand websites.
- Track automated selection parity weekly and monitor daily Net Competitive Index to keep pricing competitive.
- Strengthen the onboarding funnel to add 1.5 lakh+ incremental selections every year through automated crawls and strategic brand partnerships.
- Build ad coverage for new styles to 80% and ensure full coverage for brands managed by SAMs.
- Refine the D2C ads engine and drive around 5% incremental ad spend to support inorganic growth.
- Raise operational speed and customer experience outcomes by increasing Fulfilled by Platform unit share to 60% or more.
Requirements
- Experience in account planning and portfolio management.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to work with business metrics.
- Comfort with performance analysis and tracking operational indicators.
- Background in vendor and stakeholder management.
- Capability in contract handling and coordination across partners.
Education
UG qualification required.
