Production Manager

Role overview

An established industrial manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing activity and support a major facility move within Saudi Arabia. This position is suited to a Lean Manufacturing leader who can improve efficiency, guide production teams, and help create a modern, high-performing operation.

What you will do

• Supervise daily production across fabrication, welding, and assembly, with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and output goals.
• Support the shift from a conventional workshop setup to a Lean Flow Production model by introducing best practices and continuous improvement methods.
• Plan production, streamline workflows, assign resources effectively, and manage costs to improve overall operational performance.
• Lead Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste reduction across the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate the full relocation of the manufacturing facility, including plant setup, equipment movement, commissioning, and readiness for production.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to improve inventory planning, secure material availability, and localize suppliers within Saudi Arabia.
• Build and sustain strong quality assurance practices during normal operations as well as through the transition period.
• Guide, coach, and develop the production workforce while encouraging accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will have a background in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a similar field, along with leadership experience in demanding manufacturing or industrial environments. A solid command of Lean Manufacturing, production optimization, and operational excellence is essential. Experience in production planning, cost management, and process improvement is also important. Prior exposure to plant relocation, factory setup, or greenfield projects would be a strong advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are expected.
