About the Role
This position focuses on strengthening sales capability across the region so that market execution, data interpretation, and actionable insights consistently support strong business performance and help the region achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure flawless implementation of all core sales drivers in stores, along with any regional priorities introduced from time to time.
- Spend time in the market with DSEs, SEs, and ASMs to provide on-the-job coaching, review execution quality, and gather market intelligence and insights.
- Make sure every member of the regional sales team uses CHEERS every day without exception.
- Act as the regional point of contact for CHEERS, including uploading messages, memos, tasks, and other updates through the portal.
- Generate CHEERS reports and share them with the relevant stakeholders as required.
- Serve as the regional coordinator for sales development matters involving Ivy, Vodafone, Samsung, and CIPL HO.
- Track CHEERS adoption on a daily basis.
- Identify non-users, follow up with them, and coach or train them to improve CHEERS usage.
- Travel with and support FPRs to ensure they are using CHEERS correctly.
- Review CHEERS outputs carefully to confirm reporting accuracy.
- Carry out in-store execution audits through CHEERS for 16 days per month, following a 4 x 4 structure.
- Verify FPR data through audit findings.
- Promote and reinforce a strong culture of accurate reporting across the region.
- Study CHEERS data and other sales KPI data to derive meaningful business insights and guide the team toward opportunities.
- Identify skill and capability gaps within the regional sales team using assessment tools, in coordination with the Regional Head and State Heads.
- Design and deliver training programs for the regional sales team from time to time to close identified gaps.
Qualifications

Experience
Candidates should have 8+ years of total experience. The role also calls for 6 to 8 years as an ASM in a leading FMCG organization, and ideally 2 to 3 years in a regional capability-focused role within FMCG. Prior experience driving adoption of a sales force mobile application at regional level will be an added advantage.
Additional Information
This role requires frequent regional travel and independent field engagement. Strong emphasis is placed on daily usage monitoring, audit-based validation, and maintaining high reporting discipline across the sales team.
