Role overview

This is a part-time remote opportunity for a Researcher. The position focuses on collecting, evaluating, and organizing information, with a strong emphasis on public procurement legislation and procedures.

What you'll do

• Carry out detailed research on public procurement rules, especially electronic procurement systems and the Código dos Contratos Públicos (CCP).
• Track updates and changes in relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Analyze gathered information and turn it into clear, practical insights.
• Prepare well-structured reports and documentation for internal use.
• Support knowledge-sharing efforts and help develop reference materials for the team and wider community.

What we're looking for

• Ability to research thoroughly and collect information accurately.
• Solid analytical skills for reviewing data and identifying useful takeaways.
• Strong understanding of public procurement processes and legal frameworks, particularly in electronic systems and the CCP.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Comfort using online research tools and digital platforms.
• Good self-management, organization, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Academic background in Public Administration, Law, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in public procurement or regulatory compliance would be an advantage.
