This opening is for an onsite Technician I role based in Singapore.

What you will do

• Carry out polishing work using bench-mounted equipment or handheld tools to restore aircraft engine parts to quality standards.
• Assist with surface preparation activities, including blasting and finishing.
• May be trained to operate newly introduced robotic technology machines.
• Take part in EH&S initiatives and personally uphold safety requirements at work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, CORE activities, and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications required

• O Levels or NITEC in Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in machinery operation or a manufacturing setting.
• Applicants without prior experience may also be considered if they have a strong interest in the aerospace sector, including mid-career switchers.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic spoken and written English skills.
• Comfortable working hands-on with tools and equipment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and open to learning.
• Prepared to work rotating day and night shifts and to do overtime when needed.

Preferred background

• Basic familiarity with MS Office applications and SAP.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering is an advantage.
