Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dublin for an Air Conditioning Engineer. The role centers on installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems such as ductwork, fan coil units, and ventilation equipment across industrial and residential locations.

What You Will Do

• Carry out installation and commissioning work on air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Perform planned maintenance and diagnose faults across HVAC equipment.
• Repair breakdowns and ensure systems continue to run safely and efficiently.
• Work in line with NZEB requirements, health and safety rules, and other relevant standards.
• Read technical drawings and specifications to support accurate site work.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep jobs moving smoothly.
• Prepare clear service records and other job documentation.
• Assist with system upgrades and improvements where needed.
• Respond to call-outs when required.
• Help raise and maintain standards in both installation and service delivery.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have solid HVAC knowledge and practical experience across installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding for air conditioning and ventilation systems. A background in building services, building maintenance, facility management, or repair work is important, especially in commercial or industrial environments.

You should also have a relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical engineering, or building services engineering. Familiarity with NZEB principles, ventilation standards, and workplace safety requirements is expected.

The position suits someone who can work independently as well as with a team, manage time well, and solve problems effectively. A full, clean driving licence is required, along with the flexibility to travel to client sites in Dublin and, when necessary, nearby regions. Experience with MVHR, MEV, and ductwork systems would be an advantage.
