Arabic Data Annotator

Role Overview

This position blends two core functions: vocal performance and data annotation. The selected person will help bring scripts, characters, and narratives to life through expressive voice work while also supporting data quality by tagging and labeling project materials with care and precision.

The opportunity is open both to seasoned professionals and to students with relevant experience or study backgrounds in acting, voice work, voice direction, broadcasting, or data-related tasks.

Voice Performance Responsibilities

• Provide polished voice recordings for project assets, including character voices, narration, and dialogue.
• Read scripts faithfully and deliver the right emotion, tone, and character personality through voice.
• Work closely with directors, producers, and audio engineers to achieve the intended sound.
• Adjust pace, style, and delivery based on creative notes and revisions.
• Complete repeated takes and updates until the work meets project expectations.
• Protect voice health and keep vocal quality consistent across sessions.
• Attend rehearsals, script read-throughs, and recording sessions as scheduled.

Data Annotation Responsibilities

• Label, tag, and classify audio, text, and related content according to the project instructions.
• Transcribe and annotate spoken material with correct timing, phonetics, and context.
• Check annotations for consistency and overall quality before submission.
• Follow annotation rules and adapt when labeling guidelines change.
• Identify unclear, conflicting, or problematic entries and flag them for review.
• Keep records well organized and complete annotation work within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency with clear pronunciation and strong comprehension.
• Proven experience in at least one relevant area such as stage, film, or television acting; voice acting; voice direction; or broadcasting.
• Strong vocal control, including good range, clarity, and articulation.
• Careful attention to detail, especially for repetitive and instruction-based work.
• Ability to take direction and adjust output quickly.
• Dependable schedule and a professional attitude toward deadlines.
• Basic comfort with recording setups and microphone handling.
• Comfort using computers and annotation or labeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• A portfolio, demo reel, or showreel that demonstrates voice range and performance skills.
• Previous exposure to data annotation, transcription, or content labeling work.
• Experience working from directed scripts or in a studio recording environment.
• Ability to perform in different styles, accents, or character types.
• A home recording setup capable of producing professional-quality audio is an advantage, but not required.
• Familiarity with annotation tools or quality-assurance workflows.
