Architectural Engineer

Role overview

Saleh Al-Rajhi & Partners Co. Ltd is looking for an Architectural Engineer to contribute to architectural design and coordination work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing concept ideas, translating them into workable drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project execution through approvals and site follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and improving concept designs, schematic plans, and detailed construction drawings.
• Draft and check design submissions, tender documents, and presentation materials.
• Work closely with engineering, MEP, structural, and project management teams to keep designs aligned.
• Examine consultants’ drawings and verify that they meet project requirements and applicable codes.
• Help prepare documents needed for authority submissions, approvals, and permitting.
• Join coordination sessions and design review discussions with consultants and other stakeholders.
• Visit project sites to track progress, confirm alignment with the intended design, and resolve construction-related design issues.

Required skills and tools

• Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Ability to use presentation and visualization software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Lumion.
• Understanding of BIM coordination workflows.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural design experience.
• Experience in real estate development, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English is essential.
• Arabic language ability is an added advantage.
