Role overview
The Area Marketer will be responsible for supporting sales activity across the assigned area, ensuring shelves are well maintained, point-of-purchase displays are executed correctly, and customer service standards remain high. The role also includes administrative support and day-to-day coordination to help drive sales performance.
Key duties
- Manage sales activities within the allocated territory.
- Maintain strong shelf health and ensure products are presented correctly.
- Execute point-of-purchase materials and in-store promotional setups as required.
- Handle administrative tasks linked to the role and area operations.
- Support customer service efforts to improve satisfaction and retail relationships.
Experience and qualification requirements
Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in an FMCG setting. The role is described as suitable for applicants with 0 to 5 years of experience overall, and the minimum qualification required is a Diploma at NQF Level 5. A Code 8 driver’s license is also required.
