About the Team

The Canada Customer Growth team works on creating distinctive consumer journeys and supporting the company’s Restaurants, New Verticals, and Ads & Promotions businesses. About the Role

The Strategy & Operations Associate is suited to someone who is self-driven, naturally curious, and comfortable taking ownership. The role calls for a customer-first mindset, strong analytical problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across different levels of the business while moving ideas into execution quickly and effectively.

As a core member of the Consumer Experience team, this person will primarily help build the in-app merchandising experience for priority initiatives across DoorDash Canada. The work includes supporting major campaigns, shaping customer growth strategies, and using data to improve both existing programs and new launches. Performance will be evaluated based on progress toward OKRs tied to these initiatives.

The position sits within the Customer Growth team and reports to the Strategy & Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new customer experiences and launch plans from the ground up for initiatives that have not been built before.
  • Create strategy using first-principles thinking and customer empathy, identify patterns, and determine when to scale an idea or try a different approach.
  • Run experiments backed by data, including tests on promotional campaigns and in-app creative concepts.
  • Evaluate the operational and financial results of decisions, then refine approaches based on performance insights.
  • Partner with teams across marketing, merchant, product, engineering, finance, and analytics to bring plans to life.

What We're Looking For

  • Comfort working with SQL for analysis and table creation, building dashboards to monitor metrics, and developing high-level financial models.
  • At least 2 years of experience in strategy, operations, product, digital marketing, growth, investment banking, consulting, or a similar field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience creating assets in Figma or Adobe After Effects.
  • Familiarity with Claude Code.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a base salary range of CAD 86,500 to CAD 108,000. Final pay will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, and work location. Compensation is localized to the employee’s work location.
