Role Overview

The Business Development Manager for Ground Mount Solar in the C&I segment will be responsible for expanding business by winning commercial and industrial clients for ground-mount solar EPC projects in the assigned territory. The position combines new client acquisition, relationship building, techno-commercial coordination, and support for execution to help deliver revenue and capacity goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand business for ground-mount solar EPC opportunities within the commercial and industrial market.
  • Identify, approach, and convert new industrial and commercial customers.
  • Create qualified opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Maintain a healthy sales funnel and work toward assigned revenue and MW targets.
  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with important industrial accounts.
  • Assess customer energy needs and recommend tailored solar solutions.
  • Lead client discussions, site visits, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals.
  • Keep customer experience strong throughout the entire sales journey.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, estimation, and project execution teams.
