About the Company
Capital Smart City is one of FDHL’s flagship housing developments, created to address the rising demand for homes in the twin cities area. Positioned on the M2 Motorway close to the New Islamabad International Airport and aligned with the eastern corridor of CPEC, the project is planned as Pakistan’s first smart city. It brings together advanced infrastructure, technology-led planning, and sustainable urban development to deliver a modern living experience and long-term community value.
Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time Cameraman for an on-site position in Rawalpindi. In this role, you will capture polished video material for marketing campaigns, promotional content, and project records. Your work will include preparing and handling camera equipment, composing strong shots, and maintaining accurate focus, exposure, and framing. You will work closely with creative, marketing, and production teams to interpret project needs, execute shot plans, and help shape visual stories. The role also includes supporting basic lighting arrangements, looking after equipment, and assisting with video and TV-style production tasks on location.
Key Duties
- Operate professional camera gear to produce high-quality footage.
- Prepare, adjust, and manage camera equipment before and during shoots.
- Set up shots with attention to framing, focus, exposure, and composition.
- Coordinate with creative, marketing, and production teams to understand shoot requirements.
- Follow shot lists and contribute to visual storytelling objectives.
- Support simple lighting setups to maintain consistent visual output.
- Take care of camera equipment and help ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Assist with on-site video production and TV-style production activities as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have solid camera handling abilities and a strong grasp of shot composition. Practical experience with lighting setups and hands-on exposure to video production are important. Familiarity with TV production or similar studio/field environments will be considered an advantage. Experience in real estate, construction, or large development projects is also beneficial. Because the work is on-site and often outdoors, you should be comfortable working in changing conditions and handling multiple shoots within tight deadlines. Good communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow creative direction and safety procedures are essential. A diploma, certificate, or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
