About the Company
Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is a joint venture formed by Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. Since beginning operations in 2001, the business has grown into a leading provider of engine overhaul and component repair services.
Driven by steady growth, SAESL has broadened its facilities and built additional capabilities across its engine overhaul and component repair operations. Its engine overhaul division can support the full Trent engine family, including Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000, and Trent XWB. SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO able to handle every product variant. The division can overhaul and repair more than 300 Trent engines each year and operates a modern Engine Test Facility that helps deliver fast turnaround times.

Role Overview
The Cell Planner will support day-to-day operational planning by coordinating priorities, managing workload flow, and monitoring key planning indicators to keep the cell running efficiently and in line with schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
- Translate daily priorities into action using guidance from the Master Scheduler, CR Planner, and ICRON schedule.
- Work with the Cell Lead to organize and balance the day’s workload for smooth operations.
- Manage line and equipment limitations so production stays controlled and efficient.
- Keep track of parts Estimated Time of Completion (ETC) dates and ensure they align with delivery needs.
- Monitor OMAT usage rates and maintain awareness of safety stock levels to avoid interruptions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep communication clear and resolve issues quickly.
- Review delays in ICRON, analyze them, and report findings accurately for operational visibility.
- Check tool calibration status within the cell to maintain compliance and readiness.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Previous planning experience is an advantage, though it is not required.
- Applicants without the listed qualification may still be considered if they bring relevant experience.
- Comfort using Excel, Power BI, and SAP for planning, reporting, and analysis tasks.
- Working knowledge of planning and control practices in an operations setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- A proactive, cooperative team player who works well in a group environment.
