Chief Technology Officer

Taflink Group is seeking a hands-on, visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead technology, product architecture, and engineering for an innovative AI-powered healthcare payments company. This is a critical, early-stage, funded venture focused on revolutionizing financial workflows within the healthcare ecosystem, including provider-payer interactions, claims processing, revenue cycle management, payment reconciliation, and administrative automation. This is a deeply involved, hands-on role, not an advisory position. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building the product from the ground up, architecting a robust platform, assembling the initial engineering team, and rapidly progressing from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to a scalable commercial offering.

Our client is developing an advanced AI-enabled healthcare payments application. This platform is designed to significantly enhance how healthcare organizations manage payments, claims, and revenue cycle operations. By leveraging AI, sophisticated workflow automation, seamless data integrations, and a secure infrastructure, the platform aims to minimize manual effort, boost accuracy, expedite payment cycles, and provide enhanced visibility across all healthcare financial operations. Key areas of focus include:

• Automation of claims and payment workflows
• Streamlining provider-payer financial operations
• Optimizing revenue cycle and reimbursement processes
• Managing denials, reconciliation, and payment exceptions
• Ingesting and normalizing complex healthcare data
• Implementing secure integrations with healthcare, billing, claims, and payment systems
• Developing AI-driven decision support, workflow routing, and operational intelligence

We are searching for a CTO Co-Founder who possesses a profound technical understanding coupled with the drive and urgency of a founder. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience in building products from inception to launch (0-to-1 product development).
• Previous experience as a founder or in early-stage technical leadership roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A solid academic foundation in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, preferably from a top-tier institution.
• Experience within leading engineering environments, high-growth startups, or complex technical organizations, with a preference for candidates with experience in health tech roles at companies like Palantir.
• The capability to contribute directly to development while also effectively recruiting and managing an engineering team.
• Strong product intuition and the ability to engage effectively with customers, commercial teams, investors, and advisors.
• A keen interest or prior experience in healthcare, payments, fintech, revenue cycle management, or healthcare infrastructure.
• A proactive approach and comfort navigating ambiguity.

While direct experience in healthcare payments is highly preferred, candidates with substantial technical leadership experience in regulated, data-intensive, workflow-heavy, or transaction-focused environments will also be considered.

• Integrate AI-driven workflow automation into the core product.
• Oversee integrations with critical healthcare, claims, payment, billing, and data systems.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead the foundational engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, investors, advisors, and early customers.
• Transform a validated business concept into a robust, scalable commercial product and company.
