Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Cleaner position is based in Bromley. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine cleaning duties to a consistently high standard, with close attention to hygiene, presentation, and client privacy.

Key Duties

• Complete day-to-day cleaning activities such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
• Disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, and other frequently touched areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Work to set checklists and company procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
• Use cleaning products and equipment correctly and safely at all times.
• Prepare properties before and after client use.
• Manage waste and recycling in a responsible way.
• Flag any maintenance concerns or safety risks to a supervisor without delay.
• Deal with clients in a polite, discreet, and professional manner while respecting their property and privacy.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have prior experience in professional cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work, along with a strong eye for detail and high cleanliness standards. The role requires the ability to follow schedules, checklists, and health and safety rules, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Candidates must be physically capable of manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Good organisation, time management, and the ability to work independently are important, as is clear and courteous communication. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work agreed full-time hours are essential, including occasional evenings or weekends if needed.
