Construction Project Coordinator

Overview

This role is for a construction project coordinator with Active Homes in Edmonton, Alberta. The position is based at the worksite, and duties must be performed in person.

Language

English is required.

Education

A bachelor's degree is required.

Experience

You should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Work Location

This is an on-site position. Work needs to be completed at the physical location, with no remote-work option available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors.
• Review and assess day-to-day operations.
• Organize and plan daily work activities.
• Estimate construction project budgets and prepare submissions.
• Recruit subcontractors and oversee their work.
• Build project schedules, define milestones, and track progress.
• Set up and maintain quality control policies and procedures.
• Use CADD and other computer-based software tools.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Create and carry out quality assurance programs.
• Develop risk management plans.
• Prepare reports.
