Role overview

This position is for a Finance Manager based in Mumbai. The role involves managing client relationships, preparing fundraising and finance documentation, coordinating with bankers and other stakeholders, and supporting consulting, valuation, audit, and credit-improvement work for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Study the client’s business model, industry context, and funding needs to shape suitable financial solutions.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, bankers, and public relations contacts.
• Build investor and lender-facing materials such as teasers, investment decks, CMAs, information memorandums, and project or proposal reports.
• Submit and explain proposals to bankers and address their follow-up questions.
• Coordinate with lawyers and valuers while managing lender communication and resolving queries.
• Act as the bridge between clients and bankers to keep the process moving smoothly.
• Attend client-banker meetings and site visits, including factory visits and travel to outstation locations when needed.
• Visit bankers for proposal closure support and note preparation.
• Support business consulting assignments for different clients.
• Carry out valuation work and due diligence-related tasks.
• Use data analytics and process-improvement methods to strengthen business operations.
• Perform revenue leakage audits, management audits, and reviews of debtors and inventory.
• Handle the client relationship across the full engagement cycle.
• Assist in annual balance-sheet planning, review exercises, and projection building.
• Prepare and present information that helps improve external credit ratings for clients.
• Ensure monthly MIS is prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Analyze profitability and compare costs versus benefits to support decision-making.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to candidates with at least 1 year of experience who are based in Mumbai.

Compensation and offer
