Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a careful and organised Inventory Coordinator to join a busy warehouse operations team in Auckland, New Zealand. The position focuses on protecting inventory accuracy, keeping system data reliable, and supporting smooth day-to-day work inside the distribution centre.
You will partner with operations teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to support service quality while also helping identify ways to improve processes and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Keep inventory information current and accurate in the warehouse management system.
- Look into stock differences, damaged items, and quantity variances, then help resolve them.
- Track the accuracy of inbound receiving, put-away, and picking activities.
- Review information and turn it into useful insights that support better performance.
- Assist with daily reporting, stock reconciliations, and workflow tracking.
- Develop productive working relationships with internal teams and customers.
Requirements
- Hands-on background in inventory control in a warehouse or 3PL setting.
- Strong confidence using a WMS, with a high level of system accuracy.
- Well-developed analytical and troubleshooting skills for fixing stock issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality data.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage stakeholders well.
- LF/LO forklift licence is required.
