IT Manager

Role overview

We are looking for an accomplished IT Manager to take charge of technology operations in Singapore. This position is central to keeping the company’s IT environment running reliably, enabling business expansion, and introducing new technology improvements across the F&B wholesale business. The right candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience handling teams, systems, and technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily running of the IT function, including network infrastructure, servers, desktop systems, and telecommunications.
• Guide, coach, and grow a capable IT team while building a cooperative and efficient workplace.
• Support the current on-premise Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP platform and help lead the move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud, with the transition planned for completion by 2027.
• Assess, test, and roll out AI and machine learning solutions that can improve workflows, strengthen analytics, and raise operational efficiency.
• Create and uphold security policies and procedures that safeguard company data and systems from cyber threats.
• Handle relationships with IT suppliers and service partners, monitor SLA performance, and negotiate agreements for hardware, software, and services.
• Set up and maintain SharePoint governance, including site management, access control, content oversight, and compliance with retention and security requirements.
• Direct IT projects from planning through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, business goals, resource use, risk control, and stakeholder communication are effectively managed.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree or certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL will be considered an advantage.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in IT management, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
• Solid background in managing IT infrastructure, support, and operations within a corporate setting.
• ERP experience is essential; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Dynamics 365 Business Central is helpful, while candidates with experience in other ERP systems and a willingness to learn are also encouraged.
• Practical experience with SharePoint administration, governance, and development.
• Working familiarity with AI/ML concepts and the ability to implement related technologies.
• Good understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong project management capability with a history of delivering IT initiatives successfully.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in wholesale or F&B businesses is an added advantage.
• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
