About the Role

This position is for a Java Microservices Developer with Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad. The role focuses on building API-driven services and working within a microservices-based environment.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver Java REST APIs that follow microservices design principles.
Develop Swagger/OpenAPI definitions and verify API contracts for accuracy.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support smooth integration and delivery.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders, manage customer communication, and prepare management updates.
Contribute to Agile delivery processes and collaborate closely with the project team.
Use build and delivery tools such as Maven, ANT, Jenkins, Bamboo, and GitHub.

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience in creating and consuming Java APIs.
Hands-on experience building Java RESTful services aligned to microservices architecture standards.
Working knowledge of JPA for database interaction.
Practical experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and API contract validation.
Exposure to CI/CD implementation and support.
Understanding of 12-factor application development practices.
Experience deploying microservices to cloud-based container platforms.
