Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

Intermech Machinery Pte Ltd is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support design activities tied to sales and project delivery in Singapore. This role focuses on producing mechanical design solutions, coordinating with internal teams, and helping ensure that customer and project requirements are met accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to develop mechanical design proposals that help convert customer opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Assist Sales with project work that requires on-site support.
• Handle order processing for projects across both local and overseas assignments.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work with the Production team to make sure all design and technical specifications are covered.

Requirements

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks is expected.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in automation design is needed.
• Good verbal and written communication, along with strong interpersonal abilities, is important.
• This is a 5-day work week role based in Woodlands.

Work Schedule and Location

The position follows a five-day work week and is based in Woodlands, Singapore.
