Role Overview

The plumber will be responsible for installing, fixing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential spaces. This includes pipes, valves, fittings, drainage networks, and fixtures, all while working accurately and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit, repair, and service pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both commercial and residential buildings with care and precision.
• Work closely with general contractors, electricians, and other construction specialists to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Attend to plumbing emergencies quickly, assess the issue, and restore functionality in a professional manner.
• Carry out regular checks on plumbing and drainage systems to spot risks early and reduce the chance of future failures.
• Keep clear and organized records of work completed, time spent, and materials used, while maintaining effective communication with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both homes and commercial properties.
• Ability to understand and work from blueprints and building drawings.
• Comfortable performing well in busy, high-pressure settings.
• Strong cooperation skills and the ability to work productively with a range of professionals.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability for quickly identifying plumbing issues and fixing them effectively.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and applicable building codes.
• Well-developed organization and time management skills, with close attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
