Role overview
Nextpower is looking for a Procurement Analyst in Saudi Arabia to help manage procurement activities that support solar tracker projects. The position plays a key role in sourcing materials, services, and components on time while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
The company operates in the clean energy space and focuses on intelligent solar tracker and control software solutions, along with services that help customers improve the performance of solar power plants. What you will do
- Contribute to procurement planning and execution for solar tracker parts and related services in Saudi Arabia.
- Review supplier performance, delivery timelines, and pricing to support efficiency and savings.
- Handle vendor qualification, onboarding, and adherence to the company’s quality and sustainability expectations.
- Work with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to keep materials available when needed.
- Research the market to find new suppliers and reduce supply chain exposure.
- Compile procurement dashboards, KPIs, and cost reports for management.
- Follow Saudi procurement requirements, customs rules, and the company’s global sourcing policies.
- Support vendor negotiations to achieve favorable commercial and contractual outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally in renewable energy, construction, or industrial environments.
- Strong analytical ability and solid working knowledge of Excel and ERP tools, with SAP or Oracle preferred.
- Understanding of Saudi procurement regulations and international trade practices.
- Good communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, multicultural workplace.
Preferred experience
- Background in renewable energy or solar supply chains.
- Knowledge of logistics and customs clearance processes in the Middle East.
- Ability to use data to spot opportunities for process improvement.
