Production Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

ISM PREFAB, a modular and prefabricated construction company based in Al Khobar, is looking for a Production Mechanical Engineer to support its manufacturing operations. The company has more than 10 years of experience and works with advanced LGS and CNC technologies to deliver prefab solutions for major organizations across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, including Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Red Sea Global, and Saudi Energy.

What You Will Do

• Take ownership of daily production activities on the shop floor.
• Keep equipment, machinery, and production lines operating efficiently.
• Check product output and make sure it aligns with engineering and quality requirements.
• Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to help achieve delivery timelines.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly to reduce interruptions in production.
• Ensure HSE practices are followed throughout the production area.

What We Are Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Practical exposure to LGS, CNC equipment, or steel fabrication operations.
• Solid knowledge of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing standards.
• Ability to read and work with mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
• NEBOSH certification is considered an advantage.
• Any additional certification related to HSE or production will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with ARAMCO, SABIC, or other industrial project standards is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
• Experience in modular construction, prefab manufacturing, or industrial production is a strong plus.
• Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
• Candidates must be available for an interview in Al-Khobar.
• Good English communication skills are required; Arabic knowledge is an added advantage.

Additional Notes

This role is intended for professionals with a strong mechanical engineering background and practical experience in manufacturing or construction-related production settings. Experience with machine design, CAD tools, project coordination, and R&D activities will be valuable. Knowledge of industry standards, safety rules, and quality management systems is also important. The ideal candidate should be analytical, collaborative, and capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Background in modular construction, steel fabrication, or prefabricated buildings within the GCC is an advantage.
