Production Worker

Role overview

This is a long-term production role with a well-established global engineering business. The position is based in Narangba and involves hands-on work in a galvanising workshop supporting industrial steel processing.

Pay and roster

• Hourly rate of $37.38, plus applicable penalties and an afternoon shift allowance
• Monday to Friday schedule
• Afternoon shift: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
• Immediate commencement available

Key duties

• Use a forklift safely to transport steel materials around the galvanising yard
• Carry out repetitive tasks on the production line
• Prepare and jig steel components for galvanising
• Remove imperfections from steel using grinders and files
• Work in close proximity to mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery

What you need

• Current driver licence and dependable transport
• Valid forklift licence with practical operating experience
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Good attention to detail
• Comfort working efficiently in a busy warehouse setting
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, or steel-related environments
