Project Engineer

Role overview

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join its Project Management team within the Operations department. The position sits under the Operational Excellence division and reports to the Project Manager.

In this role, you will help drive the planning, execution, and handover of customer-driven and capital operational projects. You will act as a central point of coordination between customers and internal functions, making sure work is completed to the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned projects from purchase order receipt through final closure, covering planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
• Run project kick-off discussions and align relevant internal teams on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track schedules and milestones closely to keep delivery on pace with contractual obligations.
• Examine technical documents, drawings, and specifications to confirm they meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate procurement actions, monitor material availability, and follow up on delivery timelines.
• Handle project scope adjustments and prepare variation orders and contractual change requests where needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical and project issues.
• Organize status review meetings and keep accurate records of project progress.
• Share regular updates with stakeholders and monitor project financial performance and costs.
• Respond to customer input quickly and capture key learnings for future improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Project Engineer in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Solid knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and project management software/tools.
• Strong English communication ability, both written and spoken.
• Proven capability in scheduling, budgeting, and risk control for projects.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive working style.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia.
