Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Mississauga, Ontario calls for a Project Manager to lead delivery of electronic control solutions for OEM clients. The role involves defining project scope, schedules, and budgets; coordinating teams across functions; and making sure milestones are achieved in line with quality, safety, and regulatory expectations. You will also oversee material expediting, support logistics for timely delivery, and maintain clear visibility on progress through regular reporting and stakeholder meetings.
The position requires close collaboration with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers to address issues, manage project risks, and keep communication flowing through every stage of the project lifecycle. In addition, the role contributes to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage several projects, workstreams, and deliverables at the same time while keeping progress organized and on track.
- Review timelines, milestones, and action items regularly to help ensure deadlines are met.
- Act as a communication link between engineering, production, procurement, quality, and customers.
- Create project status updates, reports, and meeting notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Spot potential risks, blockers, and schedule slippages, and raise them when needed.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and the documentation of procedures.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of project management experience and preferably comes from, or has a strong interest in, electronics, manufacturing, or technology. Experience with technical or manufacturing projects, especially in electronics, industrial equipment, or OEM settings, is an asset.
You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable balancing priorities, and able to use Microsoft Office and project management software effectively. Strong planning, problem-solving, and risk-management abilities are important, along with clear communication, stakeholder coordination, and a collaborative approach. A self-driven attitude, positivity, and willingness to learn are also valued.
A post-secondary credential in engineering, technology, business, or a similar discipline is preferred, and a project management certification such as PMP or an equivalent is considered an advantage.
